Objective:

The primary role of the data protection officer (DPO) is to ensure that the organisation processes the personal data of its staff, customers, providers or any other individuals (also referred to as data subjects) in compliance with the applicable data protection rules. In the EU institutions and bodies, the applicable Data Protection Regulation, applicable as of 25 May 2018, obliges each organisation to appoint a DPO.

 

The CDPO certifies that the candidate is able to:

  • Knowledge of national and European data protection laws and practices

  • Have a thorough understanding of GDPR

  • Understands the organization's processing activities

  • Understands IT technologies and information security methods

  • Knowledge of the business area, its functions, administrative rules and procedures

  • It shall respect the confidentiality or the confidentiality of the performance of its duties.

Who is this course for

Prerequisites for participation in the exams

 

  • has reached 20 , the age of

  • Graduate of at least higher education or have at least two (2 years) professional experience in the control and security of information systems

In our offices we offer the actual examinations for the certification of Data Protection Officer which is accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System E.SY.D. and it is thereby recognized throughout Europe.
